Everyone Should Read Scott Adams’ Blog

I have a confession to make: I don’t read Dilbert. I never found it very funny in the past, and didn’t understand why everyone seemed to love it so much. I’ve always been a Calvin and Hobbes man myself. Since I started working at a corporate job, I have a better understanding why the strip resonates with people so well, even though I still don’t care much for it.

Scott Adams, the man behind the Dilbert strip, has a fantastic personal blog. I’ve long said that people who do comedy for a living are some of the most intelligent people in the world. Jon Stewart and Sacha Baron Cohen are beautiful examples of this. Add Adams to this list. He’s dangerously intelligent, and his writing is funny, poignant, and simply a joy to read. I rarely fully agree with him, but that’s not the point. He has things to say and he has a great way of presenting them. I highly recommend everybody subscribe to his RSS feed, or at least browse his site from time to time.
