An Old Soul

During my recent business trip to Boston, I went out for dinner and drinks with a couple of women from marketing and sales that were also at the conference manning the Microsoft booth. As invariably happens at these sorts of outings, conversation turned towards relationships, and eventually some conclusions were drawn about me. And of course, these conclusions were shared with me.

According to my companions, I am an "old soul," and therefore should be aiming to date older women. My target range should be around 28-30, I’m told. This seems pretty old to me, since I’m only 24, but hey, what do I know? I also should be dating foreign women. This didn’t strike me as particularly surprising, given my background, but I was interested that they were able to zero in on that. Anyway, I don’t disagree with the conclusions overall, but I don’t see how it changes a whole lot. Meh.
